Salary and dividends carried across
What the company paid you is taken straight from payroll and the dividend records, so the two returns always agree.
- Salary from your payslips
- Dividends from your dividend vouchers
- Other income added by you
Self Assessment for directors
As a director you probably need a personal tax return. Your salary and the dividends your company paid you are already in Telore, so it fills them in, adds what else you tell it, and shows what you owe by 31 January before anything is filed.

Read the return in plain English, approve it, and Telore files it with HMRC. Your accountant can check it first if you would like.

Questions

An online return is due by 31 January after the end of the tax year, and so is any tax owed. Telore shows the date and the amount.
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax applies to sole-trader and property income above a threshold, not to salary or dividends. Telore tells you if any of your other income brings you into it.
