Corporation Tax & year end

Know your tax all year. Close the year without dread.

Telore keeps a running estimate of your Corporation Tax as the year goes along, so you know what to set aside. At year end it walks you through review, approval and filing — your accounts to Companies House and your CT600 to HMRC.

Estimated Corporation Tax — £5,777.90

A tax estimate that is always up to date

Corporation Tax is 19% on profits up to £50,000 and 25% above £250,000, with marginal relief between. Telore applies the right rate to your profit so far and shows the working.

  • Updates as payments are recorded
  • What to set aside, and what you have already
  • Always labelled as an estimate

Year end, step by step

Telore lists what needs a look before the year can close — unexplained payments, missing receipts, the director's loan — and ticks each off as you go.

  • A checklist built from your own books
  • Adjustments explained before they are made
  • Dividends checked against the profits available

Accounts and CT600, filed when you say

Telore prepares micro-entity accounts for Companies House and your Company Tax Return (CT600) for HMRC, in the digital formats both require, and files them after you approve.

  • FRS 105 micro-entity accounts
  • CT600 with its computation
  • Every submission and its response kept

How it works

  1. Step 1: Review

Work through the year-end checklist. Telore shows what is missing and why it matters.

  2. Step 2: Approve

Read the accounts and the return in plain English. Your accountant can sign off too.

  3. Step 3: File

Telore sends them to Companies House and HMRC and records each response.

Questions

Questions people ask

For most small companies, nine months and one day after the end of the accounting period. The return itself is due twelve months after the period ends. Telore shows both dates.

Telore is built for owner-managed limited companies with straightforward affairs that can use micro-entity accounts. If your company needs more than that, Telore will say so and your accountant can take it from there.

It is an estimate, worked out from what you have recorded so far, and labelled as one. The final figure is the one on the return you approve.
