About Telore
Most UK companies are run by people who are not accountants
They are designers, developers, consultants and traders. Many run their UK company from somewhere else, in a second language. They want to know the company is okay, pay the right tax on time and get on with the work. Telore is built for them — and for the accountants they trust.
Why we are building Telore
Running a limited company in the UK means keeping proper books, registering for and filing VAT, running payroll, filing accounts with Companies House and a tax return with HMRC, and a personal return as a director. Each has its own deadline and its own vocabulary.
Most software either assumes you are a bookkeeper or hides the accounting so well that nobody can check it. We wanted both halves: a real double-entry ledger underneath that an accountant recognises, and on top of it, plain sentences anyone can act on.
And we wanted it safe — careful with money, careful with data, and honest about what it is sure of and what it is not.
What we hold ourselves to
-
01
Say it plainly
A seven-year-old should understand the main actions; a seventy-year-old should never be confused by them.
-
02
Be exact where it matters
Every penny is counted, tax is worked out by the published rules, and every figure can be traced.
-
03
Never claim what has not happened
An estimate is called an estimate. A filing is not "accepted" until the office says so.
-
04
Ask instead of guessing
When Telore is not sure what a payment was, it asks — and remembers.
-
05
Two languages, one set of books
English and Turkish, side by side, so nobody has to run their company in a language they half-understand.
-
06
With your accountant or without
Telore makes good accountants more useful, never unnecessary.
